Keeley Construction is looking to hire an Asphalt/Paving Maintenance Technician for our Paving Group in Charlotte, NC.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General duties associated with asphalt paving, patching, or prep crews.
- Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, seal coating, power washing, asphalt maintenance, and more.
- Required ability to shovel, rake, and handle other small tools.
- Equipment cleanup as needed.
- May be called upon to run small power tools.
- Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
- Demonstrate awareness and understanding of OSHA and Company safety requirements.
- Maintains consistent and regular attendance.
- Maintain schedule/phasing of projects with clients, team members and subcontractors.
- Documentation of daily work throughout the duration of the project.
- Consistent communication with the Company team and Company clients.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site.
- Additional tasks as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' construction experience.
- Class CDL preferred.
