Keeley Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Safely operating machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.
- Performing excavation, grading, material handling, and lifting tasks as required by the project.
- Interpreting blueprints and work orders to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conducting routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and identifying equipment issues to prevent project delays.
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and address any issues.
- Collaborating with the construction team to coordinate tasks and meet project milestones.
- Passing a Disa test and holding a valid TWIC card to work on certain job sites.
This role requires a combination of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, making it a vital part of any construction team’s success.
Additional Information
- This position requires regular physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Travel to various job sites may be required based on project needs.
